Mr. West is originally from the Asheville, North Carolina area. He moved to Chapel Hill in 2007 to complete his undergraduate degree. He and his wife liked the area so much they decided to stay and have lived here ever since.
Mr. West graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2009, double-majoring in Journalism and Political Science and earning highest honors (Journalism) and highest distinction (Political Science). He graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2012 and was duly licensed and admitted to practice in North Carolina that same year.
Mr. West joined the firm in September 2019, after spending several years in a general civil practice. He is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and its Estate Planning and Fiduciary Law section.
Mr. West practices primarily in the areas of estate planning, wills and trusts, estate administration and probate, and trust administration.
